Angel Wings

It is with a sad and heavy heart that I write this post. Sweet Tessa has returned home to her heavenly father. Thank you all for the prayers for her and her family. The true miracle of Tessa's life was realized, given the chance to meet her parents and brothers and sisters. The love and joy that she brought to the world you never be forgotten.

Prayers for Tessa

Please pray for baby Tessa. She was born on September 30th, Full Trisomy 13 with a congenital diaphramatic hernia. She is stable and doing will on the oscillator, and will have surgery in 5 to 7 days to repair the CDH.

Her mom and my husband grew up together and their families are still close. We also went to high school together, but were only recently reintroduced due to us having Arianna and their prenatal diagnoses. I had the chance to meet Tessa today, and she is just so very beautiful. It brought back so many memories of our first days at PCMC after Arianna's birth. I grateful that this family has allowed me to be a prat of their journey, and I hope that I am a great source of info and comfort for them.

Please keep them in your prayers, that Tessa will be stable enough for surgery.

Well.....

Arianna was not able to go to school yesterday and today, she has Rhino virus. She hasn't been acting all that sick but she has a ton of snot so the school nurse told me to keep her home. I know that she has missed being at school, she loves it there. There is no school until next Tuesday, something about UEA, they need 5 working days off.

We are still trying to get settled in my parents house, I am having a real hard time sleeping, it may be my bed but it's not 'my' room. Just when I start to feel comfortable we will find a house, move and it will start all over again.
Kenna broke my heart the other day. She got in trouble for something and I asked her to go sit on her bed. After a few moments I could hear her crying really hard so I went to talk to her. She told me she just wanted to go home, back to her purple room that makes her feel happy. i really didn't know how to make her feel better, I just hugged her and explained it all over again why we were here with Noni and Papa, and how much we all love her. I told her that I too wished we could be 'home', that I also missed my pretty little house.
House hunting stinks, driving around and looking at the outsides before we even go to see the insides is exhausting. I get so car-sick with all the turning and reading of address, I told Matt I needed a break tonight, the weather has also helped me on that fact. It is sooo windy and might rain, I just want to cuddle up and watch a movie with the fam.
I have just been informed by my mom that dinner is ready, it is nice and not to have her cooking for me. Don't get me wrong we take turns cooking dinner, I am not a loafer!!!

It is Done!

Well we are officially all moved out and homeless! but we are getting settled in at my parents home. We finished with the move last night, we said our good-byes to the house at 12:30 a.m. and got our bed set up and our dresser in at moms and climbed in to sleep at 1:30 a.m., needless to say I am tired. I cried a lot when I walked through the rooms of our house, my whole married life has been lived in those rooms, I have watched my children laugh and grow there, I will miss it greatly.
I discovered this morning while putting away Arianna's clothes that I did not recall packing the coats out of the coat closet. So I zoomed over to the house, and the new owner Bryan was there moving things in so I could go in and look, and yep there were all our coats. He was surprised that was all that we forgot, since we moved everything in 3 days. I was surprised that neither Matt or I had thought to look in that closet when we walked through the house for the last time. I guess we were just too tired!

So school for Arianna is going well. She has a nurse that is with her all day long. She comes to the house in the morning and rides the bus with her, that makes me feel a bit more secure. Arianna went on her first field trip on Tuesday, they went to the Tracy Aviary. Her nurse Tiffany said she loved it. There was one bird that was swaking that made Arna laugh. I wish I could have gone with, but I only found out about it on Monday and I had a ton to do at the house. Next time I will be going!

Kenna really wants school to start again, and so do I. One more week and she'll be back. I decided to leave her at the same school until we move to our new home, why change schools twice.

I will now start looking for a house, let's hope it goes quicker than it did to sell!!

Please keep Jaxson in your prayers, he is going in for surgery tomorrow.

I am packing my brains out, we have to be out of the house by wednesday night. Here's to no sleep for the next few nights.

Arianna started school today, I think she really liked it. She fell asleep on the bus on the way home. Mom however cried while I packed, I missed my baby.

Last Trip to the Lake!!

We are planning on a trip to Lake Powell before the summer ends, and before we pack up and move. I can't wait for the sun on my face, the sand in my toes, and not worrying about the house!

not much else for me to say. Do visit Jaxson blog, Lacey has much to say today!!!
It should remind us all that life is a precious gift, that is why today is called the 'present'.

remember to pray for those that gave Paul his new heart, life was changed for them.
