God doesn't give children with special needs to strong people; He gives children with special needs to ordinary, weak people and then gives them strength. Raising a child with a chromosomal anomaly doesn't TAKE a special family, it MAKES a special family.

What a remarkable quote! It seriously speaks volumes about so many normal people that become extraordinary through extraordinary means.
It does MAKE a special family, forever and ever. Whether that special kid is around for mere moments or forever or for 3 years and eight months.
