So Arianna, with help from Kenna, has broken her swing. Granted the swing was not built to hold a 30 lb 2 year old, but I had hoped it would last a bit longer. Kenna was helping it to move, gave it one big shove too many and well now Arianna can lay back and touch the floor with her head. She is now hanging out in her wheelchair, cause I have nothing else to put her in. I think she is tolerating it for now. I just wish there were more seating options for her, the swing kept her entertain with its lights and music, they just don't make them for kids. Matt says he will start working on a design and then build one that will work for years to come, and use parts of the old swing, ie lights and music, he just can't get to it fast enough for me.
Question? Why is it that my kids will not nap at the same time? If Kenna just so happens to take a nap, which is rare, why won't Arianna take one too, or at least one longer than 1/2 hour. I would sure love to get in on the nap train once in a while.

A New Baby
So I am alittle late in posting this, but. We have a new little girl in our big family. Scott and Jesse welcomed Delilah Rea on Sunday(see their blog for pics, I have none). The very cool thing is that she was born on her mommy's b-day too. That makes two girls in our family to share such a special day. I thought it was pretty rare to have it happen to me with Arianna, and now to have Jesse and Lilah join our club is soooo cool.

Miss Me?
So sorry I haven't been updating like I should. I have been so crazy lately, and have been without a computer for too long. Matt uses my laptop for work and has had it for 3 weeks, but is now done with it. I have been busy with the house, we are trying to sell it and I have to work hard to keep it pretty and clean, not an easy task with miss Kenna.
We had an outing with the Ruggs last week, went to the Dino museum at Thanksgiving Point, the older kids had a great time, Arianna decided to take a nap in her wheelchair, not too much to entertain her. We also went to Shriner's Hospital yesterday to see an Orthopaedic doc, Arianna has some abnormalities with some of her vertebra, nothing can be done to fix them, but we will keep tabs on it. I am grateful for their help, it is provided at no cost to us.
I am glad this has been a quiet winter season for us, Arianna has stayed healthy and home. I hope it continues. I however have an eye infection, don't know how it happened either. I have been keeping the girls in the house, we have a really bad inversion and the air quality is soo bad, I believe they said it was 140 parts per mill yesterday, the legal limit is 33 parts per mil, gross huh. It can get deep down in your lungs and you can't even cough it out.
So in the house we will stay.

Busy, Busy, Now Let's Rest
So Christmas is always busy. Matt had to work the 24th, and still had to finish his shopping, he got home at 3:00, got Kenna and left. We were to be at his parents at 4:30, didn't make it till 5:45, oh well we just missed the hot food. We opened gifts, just one, check out my SIL's, blog(Our Family) to see Spike, the kids both got one. We also went to my parents house, didn't get home until 10:00 I think. Kenna when to sleep quickly so Santa could come, and we had some wrapping to do. In the morning we opened gifts here, I got a new camera, Kenna got Hannah Montana guitar, Matt got some new power tools, and Arianna got a jigglie elephant ball.
Next off to my parents for breakfast and gifts, we got movies and such. Off to Matt's parents at 2:00. The kids got ride on motorcycles, they stay at Grammies house thank goodness. I got clothes. Later back to my parents to see my bro and his family and open more gifts. We got there while it was raining, about 6:00, when we left at 8:00 it was snowing, and it kept snowing till the late morning, we got 2 feet or more of snow.
On Friday we had people come look at the house, so I had all of our Christmas gifts put away, that's a first. Matt went to work on a snowmobile, after he helped me clean the house. I made him go out snowmobiling on Saturday with his dad and bros, he needed it.
So today we shall rest, I am still in my pj's and it feels nice.
Have a Happy New Year!!!

Crazy Christmas Daze
So we have been swamped with all the holiday stuff, I can't believe its almost Christmas day. Kenna has her tap concert tonight, and her pre-school program on Friday. I haven't done much shopping, I need some one to watch the girls. There hasn't been a day in the past two weeks that I haven't had some thing going on. Monday Arianna had an upper GI, her nissen is still working great, one less thing to be concerned with. She is scheduled to have Botox on her salavaries on Monday, but she has this really wet cough , and I know they will not sedate her for fear that she will tank and have to stay on the vent. I think I will make some calls today to re-schedule for next year. We saw the dentist yesterday, her teeth are doing good, but she needs to have some gum tissue removed and some sealant added to the molars, all that needs to be done when she is in the OR, so I might see if they can do it when we have a new date for Botox. There is so many things that have to be done while she is sedated it is hard to get everyone together, she needs an ECHO and her tear ducts repaired, I hope we can get it all figured out fast.
So that's it, I must go get the day moving, lots to do!!!

Ouchie Bum
So Arianna has been on super-dooper antibiotics since we came home from the hospital, and now she has what seems to be C-diff. It is a common side effect of Clyndamiacyn(?), which she gets three times a day, plus Omnicef twice a day. So I collected a sample yesterday and took it to the hospital, we are still waiting for results. With all the pooping her butt is red, welted and bleeding. I have been putting on cortisone cream and thick butt paste but each time she poops she screams, which this kiddo rarely cries about anything. I hope we can get this under control fast, but that means more meds I'm sure, good thing today is the last day for the antibiotics.
Now for less gross stuff. Our tree at the Festival was purchased, I was so happy. I will post a pic of it as soon as Matt gives me back my computer, he has needed it for work this week so I post this from my in-laws house. We also spent yesterday at Jaxson's b-day party, and at a banquet for my father-in-law. He is a drag racer and he won the championship for top dragster, a big honour for him, he had to wear a tux, he looked so nice. My sister took on the challenge of watching the girls for the night, she did a great job, Arianna decided to knock over her plant, made a mess. It's nice to know my sis can handle the girls and is willing to help me out, maybe Matt and I will get a few more date nights now.
